On November 29, 2023, the Northern New Mexico Pathways to Opportunity Strategy Table convened a Tribal Stakeholders Engagement Session at the Hyatt Tamaya Resort, bringing together 23 representatives from 14 Pueblos, Tribes, and Nations, along with three Native nonprofit organizations. The discussion centered on improving the Strategy Table’s approach to serving Tribes, making grant funding more accessible, and strengthening collaboration between funders and Tribal entities to support Native youth. Participants provided critical insights on refining the Strategy Table’s goals, addressing funding barriers, and aligning philanthropic investments with Tribal priorities. This report summarizes their recommendations and key takeaways.
